Hey ppl! I'm back from my 4 days 3 nights camp! The caqmp was really fun, and relaxing???We attended this camp like as if we went to chalet like this. HAHA......Dun worry, I will type out the activites I did but it will be a very very long post. haha. On the first night which is (17th Nov), I went to school for graduation ceremony first and after the ceremony, i went back home to take my camping to go for combined camp. Red Cross comdining with NPCC and NCC. But, we onli combine with NPCC and NCC the next day. Taught juniors how to do some Outdoor Activites(OA) stuff and accred them too. Everyone passed except for wee hong if i'm not wrong. After the accreditation, everyone went into the bunk to gossip and talk bout rumors. Even Miss Wong also joined in our fun. She's Young At Heart okay???? haha... At around 6pm+, we were supposed to have our dinner but the dinner still haven't arrive yet. So, Miss Wong asked us to sit in a circle and she talked to us. We talk talk talk till 7+ to wait for Miss Yew to pack dinner for us and this is when our dinner arrived. After dinner, I think we let the juniors bathe first because we planners have to let junior bathe first. After they finished bathing, we went to meet Miss Wong. She asked why didn't we bathe and we told her we will bathe after everything ends. Then Miss Wong always want planners to bathe early but we dun want because if we bathe late, we will get sick the next day. She emphasis us not to get sick tomorrow if not she will sent us home if we feel unwell. I said we won't de cause all planners so strong where will get sick???Miss Wong don't allow us to bathe late liao if not the IC will get pump. LOL...After that, we went to the study area to do some planning for some round robin evacuation on the 18th Nov. Miss Wong gave us her so called "FAT'S BOX" and we actually empty the whole box of her candies and some other stuff...I did the plannig and we decided to do improvised stretcher by using spars ans bandages. Actually we were short od bandages and Miss Wong asked Ryan to buy tomorrow. HAHA..While we plan, we had our supper too!!!AFter everything end, we had our debrief and lights off. We ended everything around 10+ and we let the juniors sleep while planners went to shower. After showing, Planners went to the Juniors bunk to check if they are asleep. When we check the guys bunk, Iylia and I saw smth which we shouldn't see. I think i shall not say what's the thing huh?cause the other party might not like it. After inspecting, we went back to our bunk to sleep. Planners slept around 11+???and woke up around 5am in the morning to so smth. Second night (18th Nov), I woke up at 5am to wash up and then do our own things. We went to the Red Cross room to get the Red Cross flag for flag raising. We nid the Singapore flag and the AES flag too so we went to look for Miss Wong in the staff room. After flag raising, we had our physical training (PT). We did some stretching and then went for a 2.4km run. The running was not very fun because we are more like walknig during the 2.4km run. haha...after we finished our 2.4km run, we went to canteen for our breakfast. Thebreakfast is the nicest meal amoung all of the meals...haha...After breakfast, we went to the cupola for OTOT(Own Time Own Target) to plan for the round robin evacuation for afternoon. Before we even went to the cupola, i went to looked for Miss Wong to tell her the planning for round robin ltr. First time i planned till so detail haha but the main problem is we were short of bandages. So, I planned on how to separate the squad equally. After rounds of changes made and rearrange the groupings, I finally did it. haha...The first group onli have 8 ppl while the second group has 9 ppl. The frst 8 ppl will do the round robin evacuation while the second group will go for archery first. AFter we finished planning, we went to the canteen to have our lunch. We have 4 tubs of ice creams cause Miss Wong siad that Miss Tiu gave us 3 tubs and Chee Leng bought 1 tubs. HAHA...After lunch the UG had their briefing with Mr Johnson before the round robin start. After befrief, the second group went for archey and i'm un the second group haha...Archery was quite fun but also sometimes bored!!!After one an a half hours, we went to take over for the round robin. For the round robin, we taught NPCC and NCC evacuation, After they finish learning, we hid some of their friends and let they NPCC cadets to evacuate them. AFter the round robin end which us around 5+ Miss Wong brief us bout the Cadet-Link event. I'm the facilitator for Captain's Ball game haha...we finished our briefing at around 6+?We went to wash up for our night trail at 7pm ltr. After washing up, we had our dinner at the canteen. After dinner, NPCC, NCC and Red Cross members went to the detention area for some Night Trail briefing. Mr Johnson was briefing us bout the night trail thingy and he asked who doesn't have a pen. I raised up my hand because i got no idea where the hell did my pen went to!!!Arghhhh........so Mr Johnson threw a box of markers to Qian Yi. Guess what???The box of markers hit Qian Yi's head by accident and her head hurts a lot!!! HAHA...when we received the worksheets, Mr Johnson went through it with us. Before setting out, Red Cross unit did a head count. When we were inside the bus, Miss Wong brief us another time and asked us to read through the worksheets and fill up the blanks at the same time. While reading, I realised that the whole walk was 9km long. WTH????that's really a long journey. When we reached Habbour Front, NCC walk first, NPCC second and Red Cross walk last. I time how long we walk when wwe start the walk. I think i shall not post the journey part. Okay...the whole journey took 142 mins to complete. The whole walk was like 2 hours and 22 mins???haha...I slept inside the bus till we reached school. Reached school around 10+? I was really really tired at that moment. We reached school change to pe attire and slippers before having supper. After supper we had our debrief and went to shower. The water was really really really cold lor...I was like shivering inside the cubical. ter showering, we went to our bunk to sleep. Iylia and me knew that there was a fire drill at 3.10am which was conducted by NPCC planners so we set alarm. Third day (19th Nov) I woke up at 3.10am because i heard the whistle of the fire drills. Iylia and me woke and went outside to see. We thought Red Cross were not involved so we went back to sleep. Who knows Miss Wong and Miss Chye came to our bunk to wake us up. Somebody told her that we were not involved but i couldn't remember who said that. During the fire drills, Miss Wong told us that the NPCC are going for a Night Walk so we give a sian face. But, Miss Wong said that we are not going because we started camp 1 day early than them so she allow us to go back to sleep. The moment we wanna sleep, we heard a lot of noises outside the classroom...WTH...they disturb us form our sleep...but nvm. I woke up at 6am this time round. Went to the toilet to wash up and get ready for breakfast. The activites for today is, dragon boating, paintball, beach cleaning and BBQ at east coast park. After breakfast, we had to report strength and everything at the detention area. I couldn't join for the dragon boating because i'm having my holiday. Sigh...the onli thing i could do is to see the ppl play.Bernice, Iylia, Qian Yi and Joanna also never play. haha...Darren from NPCC also never play. We played truth or dare to kill time. HAHA...after some rounds we find it boring so we went to look at our school people dragon boating. Joanna, Bernice, Iylia and me was like making fun of Qian yi and darren haha. But play play onli...While waiting for them to finish dragon boating, our lunch arrived. We went to help Miss Wong take the food as she injured her shoulder. After 2 hours of boating, they went up and wash up for lunch. While waiting for my unit to all gather to have lunch, Joanna tripped and fell...How careless of her. haha... so Iylia, Qian Yi and me went to attemped to her. After helping her clean her wounds, I went to have my lunch with my juniors :) After lunch, my unit gathered before boarding the bus to the horse city for paintball!!!This time round, Miss Wong is not with us so Miss Chye followed us. 10 minutes after we board the bus, Miss Wong came up. She talked to us bout some issues and make us understand smth. After we reached horse city, we had to be sitted according who playing and who not playing. The game onli allowed 14 year old and above to play. All the sec 1s can't play haha. I didn't played too due to my shoulder. It's hurts!!! When the rest of the people walked into the game station, and Miss Wong went to the toilet, it starts to rain and everyone came back in. HAHA....1 minute later, it starts to rain cats and dogs!!!!!!!!!!Miss Wong was stucked at the mall toilet. George, Mus, Me, Qian yi, Iylia and Mr Johnson were like talking crap??????I asked Mr Johnson to fectch Miss Wong up from the mall but he doesn't want to. He's EVIL!!!!!!We laughed a lot thanks to wee hong. He made us laugh till stomach ache haha. Soon, the ground filled with rocks were flooded. Iylia, Qian Yi, and me went to took off our shoes and walked bare footed. The rain water was damn cold but i loved it. HAHA.........We waited from 1+ to 2+ but the rain still hasn't stop so Mr Johnson called for the bus driver to fetch us up earlier to east coast for beach cleaning. While waiting for the bus, we saw 1 adult guy fell down at a big drain because the water level is very high. When the bus arrived, Miss Wong also came back from the mall. She couldn't find the small white wooden plank which was connected from 1 end to another of the drain because the water level has reached her knee level!!!so what Miss Wong did was she walked all the back to the mall to wait for Mr Johnson to fetch her up. If i'm not wrong, Mr Toh followed us board the bus to east coast park because Miss Wong was not with us. My unit ppl damn funny sia. I asked them whether they have tissue paper? Their respond was :"Dun Have!!!!". Then i shouted who got tissue???They replied Dun Have!!!So i asked again. Each time i asked their reply was getting louder and louder. Luckily Miss Wong was not with us because we were really noisy inside the bus. I was wondering how the driver stand us haha. I slept inside the bus sia haha. When we reached East Coast Park, we went to MacDonald's toilet. AFter that we gathered outside the Mac for further instruction. Mr Ong said that if the rain don't stop at 5pm, we will have to go back to school for bbq session. While waiting to 5pm, Mus, George, Carin, Syamsiah and me went for a walk under the rain haha. We at there joke joke laugh laugh then went back to look for our members. Qian Yi called me to ask if i wanna come up to the pool table haha. I agreed and went to look for her together with Mus and George. After we got bored, we went down to play Truth or dare with other Red Cross and NPCC ppl. While playing, the food was here. Everyone gathered and we walked to the pits according to our Unit. First was Red Cross, followed by NCC and NPCC. We 3 units challenged each other see who's fire can start first. Guess what?Red Cross unit actually started up the fire first without using a lighter. Other units assumed that we used a lighter but we didn't. We used match stickes. After we settled down the fire, we start bbqing. We bbq for 3 hours till 9pm???After that, we packed up and headed back to school. During the ride back to school. we were DAMN DAMN DAMN HIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!especially Iylia, Qian Yi and me. Carin, me, Miss Wong, Iylia and Qian Yi sat at the back row and we were damn high and noisy. We were all acting like as if we had short tounges. Even Miss Wong said that we were too high. HAHA....but it was fun. We reached school around 10+???we had our supper, shower and debrief plus reflection. What we did during reflections were to write appreciation notes to each and everyone of out unit members and say thank you to the person including Miss Wong and Mrs Tan. Because we are ONE FOR ALL AND ALL FOR ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!we finished our debrief and reflections at 12am? After this lylia, Qian Yi and me went to the Uniform group room to chit chat with NPCC and NCC ppl. We slept at 2am and woke up at 6.30am in the morning... Forth day (20th Nov), I woke up at 6.30am. Went to wash up and get ready for breakfast. After breakfast, we went to cupola and get ready for our Cadet-Link activites at Fuhua Primary School ltr on. Around 8+, Miss Wong came down and asked who wants to go home to take our things and everything. I wanna go home because of my wet shoes and my whistle. I nid my whistles for the activites ltr on. haha...We went home at 9 and have to return at 9.45. If we nid extantion, we have to call Miss Wong. Qian yi and me took a cab home as it save for time. I reached home polluted the toillet, put my dirty clothes inside the laundary, take my whistle and headed back to school. HAHA......Qian Yi asked for 1st extention till 10.05, but who knows the bus came late the driver drive so slow. So, i called for another exention till 10.15. I reached school on time and continue planning for my activites ltr on. Before going to Fuhua Primary, We had a short break after finished plannig everything and I slept inside the bunk. When Miss Wong came to tell us that our lunch is here, we headed to the canteen. Haha...the lunch is similar to everyday's meal. sian...Miss Wong asked why are we like still HIGH after 3 days of camp. HAHA...shit! I forgotten what happen after this liao. Onli no we played some games with the links together with the Hua Yi Secondary cadets. After we finish everything, got prize presentation. I was shockd when they called out my name!!!haha..After photo taking, we walk to the car park and board the bus back to school. Had some reflections inside the bus and Miss Wong was really angry because we showed other school ppl attitude. After scolding, everything went back to normal. Reached school had a short debrief before breaking camp. I volunteered for the flag day tomorrow haha. Soon, it has come to the end of the camp. Everyone had left while Iylia and me went to look for Miss Wong. After that we go canteen slack slack for a while then go home. I reached home around 7+?I had my shower and ate my dinner. After that I went to bed. There are some people who I really wanna thank!!! 1st: Miss Wong for letting me understand the coffee powder and coffee thing. 2nd: Mrs Rachel Tan for preparing food for us even thought it was late. 3rd: Miss Tiu for giving 3 tubs of ice cream to us!!!!! 4th: Qian Yi for making me laugh like hell during camp. Haha... 5th: Planners. I had a wonderful day with you guys! You guys made my day happy. 5th: All the Red Cross members!!!saw the bonding between all of you! THANK YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOPE THAT I CAN JOIN YOU GUYS AGAIN NEXT YEAR. |
